Friends - As many of you know, our sweet mother has been undergoing cancer treatment for some time now. We haven’t been very public about details (you know me and social media), but things have changed and we thought it was time to be transparent about her condition. Mom has recently made the decision to discontinue chemo and to focus on her quality of life for the time she has left. She will soon be entering into a hospice program for palliative care. The truth is, we don’t really know what time she has, so if you have a desire to either see her, or write her a note, now would be a good time. She is currently in critical care at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia but as of today, her visiting status is still up in the air. She is hopeful she’ll be up for brief visits. If you would like to see her, please private message either Bobby or me, and we will share what we know. I will be in Richmond starting tomorrow evening, Sunday, January 7th, so of course, would love to see you as I’m able. Please send any prayers and thoughts her way as we enter this tender waiting time.
