Sandra Bretting

Sandy entered the hospital Wednesday morning (1/17) after a night of severe vomiting. They discovered that she had an infected kidney and she had surgery the next day to place a stent in the kidney to drain the infection. After her operation, she was unable to fully recover and was moved to ICU to be monitored closely. The doctors discovered that she had developed ARDS and are now treating her appropriately. She has been ventilated and is still in critical condition. We will post updates in here so you can follow along with her progress. 


THANK YOU for all of the prayers and support you all have provided these last few days. We have been surrounded by love, encouragement, and helping hands and we would not have been able to survive this week without people like you. Our family has been blessed with the most generous community and we cannot express our gratitude enough!
