Sandi started a new chemotherapy treatment this May. We'll keep you updated through journal entries and hope to see you post on this page with stories, support and love. Puppy pictures encouraged!
A little more information about Amyloidosis and what Sandi is going through: Amyloid is an abnormal protein that can be deposited in any tissue or organ. Amyloidosis is a disease that occurs when the amyloid builds up in your organs and can affect people in different ways . Since June of 2016 Sandi has been undergoing multiple treatments to try to manage the disease as there is no definitive cure.
