On Wednesday, September 5th Sandi and Ev arrived in Colorado to  visit grandchildren and family when she started experiencing shortness of breath and overall discomfort. On Thursday, September 6th Sandi was admitted to the hospital with a pneumonia diagnosis. Many rounds of different antibiotics were given but fevers and difficulty keeping her oxygen levels up persisted. She was transferred to the ICU when the pneumonia grew extensive along with her oxygen demands. She has required ventilation to help her breath. Many tests are being performed to get to the bottom of this pneumonia diagnosis and determine that she is being treated the best way possible. We ask for your prayers and positive thoughts as Sandi fights this battle. Her family is with her and will continue to keep you updated as things progress.
