He was 6 lbs 1 oz at birth. He gained weight slowly but gained for the first two months. Never quite enough to make the doctors happy though. We have been going to the doctor and lactation specialists every week. We have had numerous feeding plans, but he stopped gaining and then started loosing weight. After some blood and stool tests at the pediatrician office we got a call the next morning at 7 saying we should go to the ER. That was January 19. We were in the hospital in Portland for a week and then got sent to Seattle while the doctors are trying to figure out what is causing Sammy to be in liver failure.
