Sam was scheduled for heart surgery at the Ross Heart Center at OSU in Columbus on Monday, July 23rd. The bypass surgery went well, with plans to have a stent put in later. Sam was recovering well until his condition worsened about 10 days after his initial surgery. He has received the best medical care available and many friends have sent prayers.
He has made some good steps forward on this long journey to good health and is responding to his care. He needs plenty of rest, but family and friends are by his side.
Sam is a fighter! Please pray for him, for strength and comfort for his loved ones, and the healing hands of his caregivers.
