As you probably know, Sam was involved in a boating accident on July 2, 2021 that has left him paralyzed from his upper chest down. He’s been in the iCU for 2 weeks. He’s made some great strides: breathing a bit on his own, being able to move his shoulders and upper arms, having a glimmer of control over 2 fingers, became coherent. Unfortunately over the past week he has gone backwards and now is more or less in a coma.
I’m not always able to respond. Please know I appreciate every single text, comment etc. this has been beyond overwhelming… Thank you for caring and loving my other half~Jen
