On December 3rd, 2020 Sam was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. After initial meetings with the oncologist, he started R-CHOP chemotherapy on January 5th of 2021. He completed three rounds of this treatment and had a MRI to check his progress. That MRI showed some concerns that the disease may have failed to respond to treatment and has possibly grown. Sam was referred to a specialist in Dallas and is waiting on additional testing to determine the next steps. Sam and Cailee will be using this site to post updates on his health and their family along the way.
