Welcome to our CaringBridge website. I’m very sorry if you are just seeing this now; I wanted to share this with you myself. I have been diagnosed with colon cancer, and will be out of commission for at least the next few weeks. I had surgery on January 2nd I , and have few days in the hospital (UVM Medical Center). I anticipate two weeks off following the surgery, with a hopeful return to work at least part-time in mid- January. I will be starting chemo a few weeks after that, and am not sure what that will mean — TBD.
I feel optimistic about my health projection, fortunate to have such excellent health care, and blessed to have such wonderful support from family, friends and colleagues.Joe is the best caregiver, spouse and love anyone could hope for. And I’m so fortunate to have been able to spend some wonderful time with both kids, who I love with all my heart, over the holidays.
