Salena Grace was born on 7/26/2021. Weighing in at only 5 ibs 6 oz she was little but yet oh so mighty. Our sweet princess made her debut 7 weeks early. She could not wait to meet her mommy and daddy, her big brother, and the world. She wanted to show this world who she is and she has proven to be strong and a warrior like her mommy and her maw maw.
On Saturday, August 15th she was diagnosed with RSV. She took a double whammy being sick and also premature. On Monday, Aug 17th our lives changed forever. We faced every parents nightmare. She quit breathing and had to be resuscitated by her mother. She was admitted into the Pediatric Intensive care unit. She is currently medically sedated and on a ventilator. This will give her body and lungs the rest it needs to be able to restore themselves. Please pray fervently for her healing. Stand in prayer and share near and far. Her family yearns to be able to bring her home where she should be with her big brother.
