I feel that everyone knows Sal's story, but I will give the short version for those that don't.
Three years ago, in April of 2014, Sal was coughing quite a lot and was short of breath.  I was concerned that he might have pneumonia, so I sent him to the walk-in clinic .  They sent him to the ER for a chest x- ray, and that was the beginning of his battle with Lung Cancer.  By that time, the cancer had already metastasized to his liver.  He has been on three different drug treatments, two rounds of radiation to his brain, one round of radiation to his lower back and right shoulder.  Life was pretty "normal" until October 2016.  That's when things started to go "south".  He spent time in the hospital, dealing with pain in different parts of his body, trying to get the cancer under control.
