Sadie had a brain aneurysm Wednesday, Feb. 19th in afternoon while on break at work at St. Mary's Hospital at the Mayo Clinic. Surgeons performed an angioplasty and stopped the bleeding in her brain with a wire coil. This morning she was breathing on her own and moving her right side alot and the left a little.
They took her in for a CT scan an hour ago and found more bleeding in her brain. The coil has slipped. This time she will need a craniotomy try to stop it. They told us she lost a lot of blood and a third bleed would be fatal. She is in surgery now. I will update this when surgery is over.
We also started a GoFundMe account to help Sadie keep up to date with bills and medical deductibles while she is in this long recovery process.
