About 3 weeks ago, Ryker started getting headaches and nausea, DJ & Ashley took him to the doctor and they tested for mono, thought maybe it was sinus issues etc but could not find anything wrong. Friday, April 15th they did a CT scan and found a tumor on the back of his head right on the brain stem. Ryker was sent to Sanford's Children's Hospital in Fargo Friday night for surgery, which the postponed. They did an MRI on Saturday and Sunday they removed the tumor. Today, they found out it is one of two forms of cancer so Ryker has a long road ahead of him.....it was sent to Mayo and they should know by Friday they exact type. They were told that statistically...even if it is the better of the two types...only 2 out of 3 beat it....Well, Ryker is a tough kid....he will beat this!
