Hi!!   We are using this site  to keep family and friends updated in one place on Caroline & Cameron’s progress in the NICU. We so appreciate your prayers, support, words of hope and encouragement!! We will post updates to the journal section! Thank you for caring for us and our girls, means so much to us. Here is a little background...

After a few years of trying to get pregnant, two miscarriages and Norell being diagnosed with endometriosis, we started exploring fertility options. The first step was to do a round of IUI with injections. Due to an overproduction of follicles we were converted to a cycle of IVF which was very unexpected. IUI is a baby step in fertility and IVF is full fledged fertility treatments with shots everyday and egg retrieval surgery, watching the embryos grow and implantation. Due to our circumstances we really felt this was the right next step and trusted the Lord with the process. Jeremy was the best support to me, always finding ways to ease the pain of the shots and supporting me at every doctors appointment etc. He’s just the best. We started treatments in November,  became pregnant after the first round and found out we were having twins in December. We announced they were twin girls on January 15th to family and friends.

My pregnancy was smooth, no morning sickness and every doctors appointment seemed super positive and on track. Things quickly changed on Sunday April 15th. We have posted a recap of how it all started and our first week with the girls in the journal section. We will continue to update you there.

We’ve truly been overwhelmed with the love and support by our family and friends. It’s also so neat to be reached out to by people we aren’t even close with and don’t even know. We are truly feeling the  love and it brings me to tears. The Lord is near and He is all over this situation and has the girls in His hands, we are trusting Him and His perfect will and plan. It has been so neat to see him work in ways and provide peace during a scary time like this. Thank you for your continued prayers, we love all of y’all so much!!!!
