This morning when Ryan woke up to take off for work he woke his wife with a kiss because she had just asked last night to make sure he woke her up before going to work. Ryan was headed to Gillette to work for Denny Lindberg and left before 6 in the morning. Ariane remembers giggling as he said goodbye for the day. When Ryan didn't show up for work Denny started worrying and decided to call Randall Laumbach because he didn't have Ariane's number. Randall called Ariane and she told him he was going to a different job first and he should be at work. Denny knew that there was no other job so he started calling and was going to start driving to Sheridan looking for him. When he was able to get ahold of the highway patrol they informed him that Ryan had been involved in a rollover accident and had head neck and back injuries and was life flighted to Casper. Denny contacted Randall and Randall informed family of what happened or what info they had at that time. Ariane's family went to her house to be with her and let her know what happened. Immediately all her friends and family came to comfort her and they left for Casper as soon as they could. As word started coming in he was still in surgery and this was at 1:00 in the afternoon. When we all got to Casper the dr had went to lunch and Ryan was stable in icu. Several of the friends and family had had a chance to see him and Ariane and her mother were in the room when the dr informed them that he had severed his spinal cord at the t6 vertebrae and felt he most likely will be paralyzed from waist down. Cat scan came back with no head injury just a concussion. He has been sedated through it all so we haven't been able to visit with him. Ryan moved to our community here in Sheridan five years ago, and has touched the hearts of so many many people from infants to the oldest!  He is so loved by all! Please pray for Ryan and his family through this heavy trial.
