Ryan was in a single-car accident in Charleston, West Virginia, on Thursday, October 19, 2017. She was returning to school following a visit with friends at the University of Pittsburgh.
Ryan broke several bones including her ribs, bones in her back and had quite a few other injuries. She's already had a few surgeries and has several more procedures to come.
Ryan's dog, Blue, had surgery for a broken leg and is recovering well.
