Hello, Beloved Friends and Family of Bob Schlichting. This is Kathy Lackey - more proudly known as Bob's oldest daughter. Our family chose to set up this site to offer a place to share updates on Bob and to give a place for friends and family to send prayers, and to share memories and stories they have of Bob. As many of you may have already heard Bob's fight with cancer has entered it's final round. On Nov. 22nd, 2019 Bob & Lee made the decision to stop all curative treatment and to have Bob enter hospice treatment in his home. Dad fought long and fought hard, but after three years his body stopped responding to the treatments. His wish is to spend his final days in his home with those he loves. We want to do everything we can to support him and Mom in this final journey. We are asking friends and family to share their favorite memories and stories they have of Bob here on this site. As long as we can we will share them with Dad. Thank you for joining us here. The outpouring of love for both Dad and Mom in this journey has been inspiring to see.
