Welcome to my mom's site. We hope to provide this as a place people can get updates on her battle. On Friday September 13, 2019 Ruth presented to the Emergency Room where they discovered 4 brain tumors that had metastasized from 2 other tumors in her lungs. The diagnosis is lung cancer and 3 days later a large tumor would be resected from behind her left eye. Ruth faced full brain radiation and subsequent treatment for the lung cancer lesions as well with chemotherapy. Ruth passed away on August 25th surrounded by her son and daughter.
