Tuesday 9/5/2017. Hello all, the hospital has this site available so we can keep everyone updated at one time. We left Mom last night at the rehab center and she was doing fine. During the night she had difficulty breathing so she was taken to the hospital across the street. They removed some fluid from her lung to help her breathing but it didn't help. They ended up sedating her and inserted a breathing tube that is allowing her to breathe. They sedated her so she won't remove the breathing tube which is a natural reaction. They continue to monitor her through blood tests, etc., and those results will determine when they will remove the breathing tube. We will update this site as we gain new information.
