Welcome to Ruthie's CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We've appreciated all your cards and letters and greatly appreciate all the support and encouragement, though we have not been able to respond to each individually.

After being abnormally tired all spring and summer of 2015, Ruthie was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in September.  In February a secondary cancer was discovered in the form of a mass on her left kidney, which was determined to be inoperable.  In early March she entered Palliative care and so far Ruthie has had very little to no pain. Her motto through this experience has been and continues to be....  "the best is yet to come".
