Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
This is about Ruth's story....

"I have had a headache for several weeks that seemed to be like a sinus head ache. My Nurse Practitioner recommended a barrage of tests one to include a sinus Cat Scan. I received a call from my Nurse Practitioner asking where I was and was Steve with me. She told me to turn around and go back to the hospital, go directly to the ER they were expecting me. I told her she was scaring me and she said I probably should be scared. When we arrived at the hospital I was put in a room and told I had fluid on my brain and lesions in my brain. After an MRI and confirmation of lesions, I was taken by ambulance to Medical Center of the Rockies
They said that it looks like metastasized cancer lesions on the brain. The Cat Scan body scan showed no cancer any where else in my body. The Echo cardiogram heart test show a good, healthy heart. Good news there are only two lesions on the right side of my head near my right ear.

After surgery, we have found out that they did remove two tumors from my brain. The doctor has said I will need Chemotherapy and Radiation but we will know more after the test results come back from pathology. I thank you all for your continued prayers and I go through this journey."
