On June 24, 2016, Rusty was taken to the local hospital. He had been feeling bad for a few days and progressively gotten worse. When all was said and done, Rusty had been diagnosed with diabetes, sepsis, MRSA, a clot in each leg and was having difficulty breathing and he was in kidney failure and was in A Fib. He was placed on a vent and was being given insulin, a heparin drip for the clots, 2 different antibiotics one being vancomycin and cardizem for the AFib. He has been off and on the vent three times and has been in ICU for two weeks.
