When Russ and Linda were on vacation the end of Oct./1st of Nov  Russ was diagnosed with an aggressive  lymphoma.  It is treated with long term chemo therapy.  They were just preparing for Mark’s Big Empact Live Event, but had to leave Calif.  immediately for Swedish Hospital Cancer Center in Seattle, Wash.  They had many unforeseen circumstances on their trip that led to his diagnosis.  After 8 days of overwhelm, shock and treatments, they spent two days with their niece and family arranging airline flights home.  How wonderful to have great meals, bed and loving support.
Swedish hospital found an Anchorage AK oncologist to work with on his cancer, so transferred him.  They met with the Dr. on   their way home to Homer (225 miles from Anchorage).  So far, he will be on the same treatments, 21 days off and 5-7 days of 24 hr chemo, In the Providence Hospital.  They will be travelling every month, if and how his  labs and health reacts.  He will be getting blood tests twice weekly in Homer during his 21 days off. It is an everyday battle, and they are overwhelmed, but with everyone’s love, prayers and concern, he will win.
