In early January, what they thought was a minor tooth issue turned out to be an aggressive, malignant squamous cell carcinoma of the neck. After many doctors and tests, the fast-growing nature of this tumor has led to the only viable treatment which is to undergo radiation and chemotherapy together. This is scheduled to start sometime during the week of March 21st if all goes well and will continue for 8 weeks. At that time, the oncologist will reevaluate whether surgery can be done to remove the tumor. 


I will be updating this site as needed to keep our family and friends informed. Feel free to post your favorite photo or story about my dad. I'm sure he will love hearing them and will get him through the tough days of chemo.
