Family and Friends,&nbsp; Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. As you may know, on the evening of Sunday, September 27th, Russ, Anita and the girls were in an &nbsp;automobile accident on their way home from the beach, and while they were shaken, they were okay. &nbsp;Russ, always the helper, got out to assist the passengers in the other vehicle, yet he and the other two passengers were struck by another vehicle in a hit and run incident. &nbsp;Russ passed away later that night due to internal injuries. &nbsp;He is survived by his loving wife Anita, and three beautiful girls, Ana, Leah and Alexa, who are heartbroken and struggle to imagine what life will look like without Russ. Russ will be missed by many - his wife and children, his parents and sisters, his co-worker "family" at the GW Emergency Room, and everyone who knew him and loved his positive outlook, unruffled demeanor, love of surfing, and being a father. &nbsp;Anita and the girls are so grateful for the support of his friends and family. &nbsp;They so appreciate the outpouring of love and support; they may not be able to respond to every outreach at this time but certainly wish you to know that it means a lot to them, and wish to share information.
