Ruby Salkeld

Ruby is a sweet 15 year old girl from Sonoma County. Sadly, our world has been turned upside down as she was diagnosed the beginning of December with a rare and inoperable aggressive Stage 4 Gliomablastoma in her brain stem.  She had no symptoms until the weekend before Thanksgiving when she began losing the use of her hands and was sent to UCSF for diagnosis.  As the tumor is inoperable, Ruby will be undergoing radiation therapy in an attempt to slow the progression of the fast growing tumor. While there is no cure, we are hoping to have a bit more quality time with Ruby until this cancerous tumor takes her life.
