On October 5th, 2017 I turned 39....on October 6th, 2017 I was diagnosed as having a brain tumor.  On December 6th, 2017 I had a craniotomy to remove an oligodendroglioma tumor from my left temporal lobe.  The surgery was a success and as of January 2nd, 2019 the tumor is gone and the recovery from 6 weeks of radiation(seems forever ago) and 285 days of chemo. begins.  This story is different than the original,  but I also feel is important to share going forward.  My doctor's were (are) amazing, however I am looking forward to not seeing them for a bit :).   This part of the journey is still quite important as I do have a decent recovery journey ahead, but no complaints on that as the alternative is....we'll just leave it at that as we have been exposed to that at some level.  Please feel free to join and follow the new version of the story as I am sure it will have its own unique story.  Happy New Year everyone, onward with a positive 2019.
