CaringBridge titled this section "Rosie's Story". We were going to begin by journaling what happened between January 15th, 2016 and January 22nd, 2016 but Rosie's story begins way before January 15th when a massive stroke took Rosie's body. Rosie's story is about how she lived her life up until the end when she passed away peacefully on January 22nd.
Rosie's story isn't about those last 7 days, it is about the kindness she showed others each and every day; her unconditional love and support that she had for her kids and grandkids; her impressive life that included caring for and loving her own mother and earlier her mother-in-law; it is about her relationships, conversations and interactions that she had with her own brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, great-nieces/nephews on a regular day to day basis (just living her life); it is about the friendships (and laughs) she had with special people who she saw every week and the friends that she has had for 50+ years that she saw less frequently but were just as important.
That was Rosie's real Story.
The journal provided below is provided to help answer questions and as a way to say Thank You to so many people who supported her family during these 7 days.
