Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

On August 3, 2016, Rosie had been feeling ill and thought she had the flu.  She wasn't getting better so she went to hospital to learn she needed to have her gallbladder removed. On August 5th she had routine gallbladder surgery and was discharged the following day. On August 7 she developed a fever and was admitted back to the hospital.  She has been in the hospital ever since as she hasn't been able to fight a fever. Many tests have been done and the doctors are stumped on what is causing the fevers. Based on her blood work, they are thinking it is related to her liver and want to do a biopsy but it is too risky right now with her fever. We are also waiting to see if she can move to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee to work with specialists and help diagnose what is going on so we can get her home. We hope to have more information on Monday so stay tuned...

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and we will continue to provide updates on her status. Thank you for visiting.
