Rose is 7 years old and in 1st grade. Just before turning 5, Rose was diagnosed with Pilocytic Astrocytoma, grade 1 brain tumor. Rose has now had 3 brain surgeries and has had a number of complications along the way. Through it all she has been such a brave little girl, has kept her sense of humor, and continues to have a positive attitude!
We are so thankful for the prayers and support we have received from all of our family and friends and from people who have never even met our sweet little girl! We are blessed beyond words to have you all in our lives!
When Rose was first hospitalized in 2014, everything happened so fast. We simply did not have time to set up a page for her. After Rose was discharged she was doing so well that we hoped there wouldn't be a need for one. We know that there are many people who would appreciate updates from us in the future and who are curious about her health history (this information is in the first few posted journal entries). We will continue to update on this site as needed.
