Rose Marie Alter

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. For those of you that don't know, Rose Marie was taken to UVA hospital a couple days after Christmas where she was diagnosed with lung cancer.  She is currently undergoing radiation and physical therapy.  Yesterday, she was transferred to the Laurels, a rehabilitation facility and will be there for at least a couple of weeks. Rose Marie remains in good spirits and is determined to do whatever she can to get better and go home.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Thanks to those who have sent cards and flowers.  It means a lot.  If you would like to post thoughts and well wishes to her on this website, we will read them aloud and/or print them out for her.  Thank you for taking the time to visit her website.  We will try to keep everyone posted on how she is doing.
