About a month ago, we all noticed a significant change in Mom/Grandma Ro Ro’s personality. She had become agitated and seemed more stressed out than usual. When she started to become very lethargic and couldn’t get out of bed, we became very worried. As most, of you know, she is a doer and would rather be up and about early instead of sleeping the day away. Around Christmas, things started to become worse. Thinking it may be the new Thyroid medication she was on, she got a blood test on the 28th of December. That weekend, she started having cognitive difficulties and went into the ER on the morning of New Year's Eve. After initial tests, including a whole body CT scan and an MRI, it was concluded that there was a tumor on her brain. The biopsy was New Year's Day and the diagnosis was (PCNSL) Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma. This is a page to inform family and friends of Mom/Grandma Ro Ro’s trials and triumphs through this awful disease. We encourage as many prayers, thoughts, well wishes and cheerleading as possible as she will need it!
