Welcome to our Caring Bridge site. We wish to have one place to inform, to call for prayer, and to coordinate community efforts for help. My journey on this road is uncertain. I have lots of questions. But I know the one who holds the answers, and my life in His hands. That is a good place of rest for me. 

It is a surreal experience when your doctor tells you that something inside your body is actively trying to kill you. A stealthy tumor invades without fanfare or encouragement. It is quite honestly, a punch to the gut. 

Realistically though, my Biblical worldview calls to me. I recognize that each one of us fights with an enemy that wants our destruction. Our sin nature wants to enter silently unnoticed. Sin wants us to nurture pride, lust, envy, bitterness and offense. I choose to see my symptoms, treatment, and victory over this earthly curse as an advantage. God is granting me the time and space to walk with Suffering while drawing me closer to His Love and a sweeter relationship with Him. May His glory be made known through my weakness. May we experience communal redemption as we walk this. For, I will have victory. Victory may be in this life, or my eternal one. The word “Cancer” is loaded with earthly dread. I am declaring the only “C” word that matters is Christ. I serve a crucified and resurrected Christ, that is the only thing that matters.
