Where do we even begin? How about fifteen years ago, Rose survived her first triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma. Well, on October 16th, 2019, she was diagnosed with bi-lateral invasive ductal carcinoma. One is hormone positive, the other is triple negative. Luckily through a PET scan, we were told it is contained to both breasts and possible lymph nodes (on the triple negative side). Since the triple negative is aggressive, she will undergo surgery first, then chemotherapy and a possibility of radiation (depending on if it spread to lymph nodes).
