On Halloween 2018, our baby girl surprised us and came into the world 14 weeks early at 26 weeks. There were complications with our pregnancy, which led to our daughter receiving insufficient nutrients for proper growth in the womb. It was determined that she had the best chance to survive outside of the womb in the NICU. At 1:11AM on 10/31/2018, Rory Leigh Hooker was brought into this world weighing exactly 1 pound at delivery. Rory immediately showed us and her doctors that she was the ultimate fighter, and was going to do everything to survive. Her parents, family and friends love her dearly, and have been praying for strength so she can come home as soon as possible. After receiving so many loving words, thoughts, prayers, and requests to help, we decided to create this web page to document her journey through these early months of her life. We thank you for your love and interest in our beautiful baby girl, and we will be updating this page as much as possible, so everyone can follow Rory's Story
