Ron Froese Ron’s Road To Recovery

So this has been a bit of a surprise since Ron has been healthy up to now. Our household including our son Ben, wife Marnie and baby Jade (currently live with us while they house-hunt) all had COVID in August, and Ron was the last one to get it. We all were vaccinated so we had mild cold symptoms and regained our health quite quickly. In Ron’s case, the doctors figure COVID is responsible for surfacing the cancer instead of it staying undetected … a blessing in disguise.   He ended up going to the hospital because he was having significant pain, and doctors ultimately diagnosed him with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, stage 4.   His doctor is very hopeful, stating that the chemotherapy treatment has a 90% success rate.  She fully intends to put him into remission and told him he should have another decade of life ahead of him.  We like and have great faith in the care team that has been assembled for Ron.
