Dad came in for a routine biopsy of his spleen, after the procedure, he had been waiting in the recovery room when his blood pressure dropped dramatically and had to be rushed into emergency surgery to remove his spleen completely because he was losing a lot of blood and fast. He is now in the St. Vincent ICU until he stable enough to be moved to a regular room.
