Several months ago I had back pain which I later discovered was metastatic cancer that spread to my spine. I went through radiation therapy for a couple of weeks and after the treatment was over my back pain worsened. Further scans showed that there was still cancer in the spine which made the pain worse. I have been in the hospital several times and am currently at Barnes to see how to manage the pain. I have gotten calls, cards, texts, food, flowers...so much love has been poured my way and I can’t tell you how much this means to me and my family. I can’t respond to eveyone because I’m not up to it so my dad will be posting updates through this site. I feel the love out there and can’t thank you enough for your care and concern.
