Welcome to Ron's CaringBridge website. We will be using this site to help keep family and friends updated on Ron's progress as he recovers from surgery!

As most of you know Ron is having LVAD surgery on 8-19-2016. LVAD stands for Left Ventricular Assist Device. A left ventricular assist device (LVAD) is a pump that used for people who have reached end-stage heart failure. They will surgically implant the LVAD, a battery-operated, mechanical pump, which then helps the left ventricle (main pumping chamber of the heart) pump blood to the rest of
the body.

Ron is having his surgery at the U of MN in Minneapolis. He is expected to have a 30 day stay in the cites after his surgery. The first part of recovery he will be at the hospital and the second half of recovery he will be staying at a hotel nearby. Sue is staying with family friends while Ron is recovering at the hospital then they will be together at the hotel until he is cleared to go home!!!!!

If anyone would like to send prayers or well wishes to Ron and Sue their email is: feigums@hcinet.net

We appreciate everyone's support and prayers!
