Ronan passed away on March 9, 2017. He will forever be in our hearts ❤️

Ronan was born on 11/28/2016. At 7 months pregnant we found out that he had a heart defect they just weren't sure whether he had Truncus Arteriosus or Tetralogy of Fallot. Ronan was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot with a pulmonary artresia. We got to take him home for 2 months before his first surgery. On 02/08/2017 Ronan had his first heart surgery and everything with his healing was going really well until 02/14/2016. Ronan was taken off of the ventilator and seemed to be doing well and started to decline. He was having major issues with his lungs and his oxygen levels were really low. We were sitting outside of his room when all of the doctors were working on him when they had to call for help because they were starting chest compressions. His heart did not completely stop beating and they were able to get him back to being stable. He ended up having another episode and they decided that he needed to go to the cath lab. They ended up putting 3 stints in his vessels. Ronan has still had issues coming off of the ventilator after the stints were put in and they believe that he had pulmonary hypertension. They started him on medication for it and everything seemed to help until he came off of the ventilator and he had another episode. This time they had to put him on the heart and lung bypass machine. Since then he has gone back to the cath lab and had another stint put in to help supply his right lung better and has switched over to the lung bypass machine since 02/26/2017. Ronan's condition is a very complex one. He has tiny vessels on his heart that supply both lungs, but then he has pressure in his lungs keeping them from being completely supplied. A lot of factors come into play, but we will never give up our faith that God is at work and will get him through this.
