Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In February, Ron Wochnick was seen for a rapidly growing lump on his right cheek. A golf ball sized lump along the right ear and jaw line appeared within less than 2 weeks. On March 3rd of this year, Ron was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer of his Parotid Gland and left illiac (hip) bone. He has begun an initial treatment process of a series of 6 rounds of Chemotherapy at the Coburn Cancer center, which may be followed up by radiation treatment and further chemo.

Along with immense support from family and friends and an extremely strong faith in God, he has remained positive in this difficult battle.

                         RON WOCHNICK
Husband, father, grandfather (papa), foster dad, son, brother uncle, friend, these are just a few names to describe  this amazing man. Ron grew up in a large family. 10 kids 7 boys 3 girls. He was the youngest, and NOT as he keeps reminding me " the baby". This family upbringing created in him a desire to also have a large family. Well God certainly provided that. Ron had 5 bio children 1 which died at age 5 months from SIDS ,3 young adopted children, cared for over 75 foster children many of which we still have close relationships with ,and 11 grandchildren. Ron loves to have great big gatherings with all his family . To him, after God, there is nothing more important than family. This is a man that will stop everything to go help his kids when they need something. This is a man who is loved immensely. This is a man who we need to be strong for and now it is our turn to take care of. God bless you Ron. You are my husband, my friend, my love.
