Ron Ivy

We started this site as a way to keep family and friends updated in one place- as well as share thoughts of love and encouragement for Ron as he bravely and courageously battles a very rare and aggressive cancer that started with his kidney.  On June 1, 2016 Ron came down with Shingles.  His illness quickly lead  to double pneumonia.  A chest X-ray just happened to spot a tumor on his left kidney.  On June 27, 2016, Ron had his left kidney removed along with a malignant tumor.  On November 16, 2016, follow-up scans showed that the cancer has spread throughout his abdomen.   


These updates start with Ron's admittance to MD Anderson on Monday, November 21, 2016.  We all know Ron loves to laugh and has a sense of humor like no other- so be sure to share fun stories! Ron, Patty and family are so thankful for your love, prayers and support.
