Roman Mead

Roman is my surviving twin boy, born at 25 weeks he has had quite the journey so far. Roman has a severe lung deficiency and required a lot of oxygen. He was unable to breathe on his own Due to premature lungs and being under developed. After being transferred to Childrens healthcare of Atlanta, all other options just did not work. In the end, he needed surgery. He got his surgery for his tracheostomy and g/j tube placement in October 2021 when he was 6 months old 4 months adjusted. Roman is on the LTV  Ventilator as well as oxygen 24/7.  He is a sweet happy baby despite what he has gone through. The first 10 months of his life were in the hospital. He is finally home and healing.
