Rol Hoezee

I would have never expected to be doing this - writing Rol’s story for a Caringbridge Page! He is such is such a strong and healthy guy that can conquer most challenges that come his way. Gives me much confidence he can overcome this as well. 
So, his story: middle of last week he started coughing and feeling tired. “Just a cold” we both said. “It’ll go away.” Well it didn’t go away, continually getting worse. Finally on Saturday, at the encouragement of his doctor, I took him into Butterworth ER. He tested positive for Covid, add pneumonia to that and low oxygen level as well. So he was admitted Saturday. Being rather naive, we figured an overnighter would be all it would take - he is strong, healthy man,  he can fight this. Well, adding diabetes to the mix makes it more challenging. So, here we are 4 days later, fighting with all our might, trusting God and his healing finger with the plan he has, knowing that His unfailing love and grace will prevail.
