Roland was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma on February 24, 2017. He had been experiencing fatigue and shortness of breath for over a year, but the doctor's believed it related to various vitamin deficiencies. On February 20, he experienced severe stomach pain and was taken to the ER. The doctor's first believed it was a bowel obstruction, but a CT scan showed several suspicious areas in his chest. A lump was also found in his neck and a biopsy showed that it was Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Roland began a six month regimen of chemo on March 3rd.
