He was diagnosed with a large aggressive tumor that affects his larynx. Ten years ago he had had thyroid cancer but this tumor had not been detected. He saw an ear, nose, and throat doctor on Monday, May 9th and then had many tests at the Veterans Administration Hospital to conclude that he had throat cancer. The only course of action was to remove his larynx, which will leave him without typical ways of speaking. We are grateful to our family and friends from many different places are “storming heaven” with incredible prayers, love, and support. We know God is holding us tight and giving us strength for the “new normal” to face the future. We will update the site on his progress and you can respond.
