Roger Mahan

Welcome to Roger’s Caring Bridge site.  This site is one way to connect this great community that cares about Roger.   As many of you know, Roger has been on this journey with cancer for over 7 years now and we have all marveled at his courage and resilience.  We have also remarked at his joyous sense of humor and his friendship to all of us.  This site is one way to give back to Roger.  We’ll post fun photos, inspirational messages, and specific ways we can help - including visits, deliveries, and rides to doctor appointments.

Roger currently serves as Policy Advisor to House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.  He transitioned to Majority Leader McCarthy from Majority Leader Cantor in 2014.  Prior to joining Cantor in 2011, Roger was a budget analyst with the Senate Budget Committee. Roger also previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislation at the Department of Health and Human Services from 2006 until 2008, and as Legislative Director and Press Secretary to Rep. Wally Herger of California, and from 1995 through 2006 as a budget analyst with the House Budget Committee.
