Our dad, Rodney, was diagnosed with acute leukemia on October 8th. We are fortunate to start his journey at Vanderbilt. Dad began chemo last night at Vandy and is being given a special drug that is new to the world of acute leukemia which will support his process. He was admitted last night, October 26th and 'should' be discharged on October 31st. After that he will work with UT Cancer Center with Dr. E. Cannon with monthly chemo and blood support.
Dad is not in pain, has an incredible mindset and has a great relationship with God, so we are in a good place!
