Rod Hewitt Rod's Remarkable Recovery

Sunday, 5/7/17

For all of Rod's friends and family who are visiting this site,  we wanted you to know that Rod had a check-up with the doctor last week and he has been released to go home to Alabama to continue with the healing process.    He left for Alabama on Friday, May 5th, and Carla is leaving this week to hopefully get to Montana in time for the arrival of their fourth grandchild.

Rod's doctor released him to work from home taking phone calls and answering emails so don't be surprised if you hear from him.    As of today, he will return to N.C. the early part of July.

We would like to thank all those who sent their throughts, prayers, well wishes, cards and meals to Rod and Carla over the past 2-1/2 weeks.   They appreciate everything that his friends and family have done for them.

If you would like to send a note to Rod, his address in Alabama is:

15115 Sarah Baker Drive, Northport, AL, 35475

We will continue to hold them both in our thoughts and prayers during his continued recovery.

Thank you all,

Rod's Friends, Family and Colleagues

On Thursday, 4/20/17, our dear friend and loved one Rod Hewitt suffered a heart attack. But for the grace of God, Rod's care was immediate and he is now home in Greensboro with his wife, Carla, recuperating.

There are so many friends, colleagues and family who want to show their support and love for Rod so we created this site for you to do just that.

Please share your well wishes to Rod and Carla and we all wish him the speedest of recoveries!

If you would like to drop off a meal for Rod and Carla, please go to the "Ways to Help" icon at the top of this page and then the "Planner" link at the bottom to sign up.  Please keep in mind that Rod is on a no salt, low cholesterol diet so please be cognizant of this when sending meals for Rod and Carla.

Thank you!

Rod's Friends, Family and Colleagues
