I will do my best in trying to share my dad's story with you. A couple months ago he was diagnosed with bladder cancer . He had his first surgery about a month ago to remove the tumor they found and a second surgery and had one round of chemo Monday December 11th . Everything went well with that surgery but on Wednesday afternoon he developed a fever, vomiting, and became disoriented so he had to be hospitalized. They said he had some kind of infection going on but could not pinpoint exactly where it was coming from so he was treated with multiple antibiotics to help take care of the infection. He had good days and bad days . He was in the hospital until Monday December 18th and was moved to Thorne Crest for Rehab. He only made it overnight at Thorne crest when he developed another fever and was take him back to the hospital ER, after running test he was flown to Rochester St Marys. He went into AFib, had a mild heart attack, fluid around the lungs, kidneys were failing, and they found a gallstone in his gallbladder that was inflamed and backed up with bio because the gallstone had blocked the gallbladder. We have had long days and long nights and will do our best to keep all of you informed.
